Job summary

Lean Solutions Group (LSG) in the Philippines is seeking a Freight Pricing Representative to support the freight sales and operations team by processing rate requests and delivering timely quotes for air, ocean, and ground shipments.

You will evaluate routes, consolidate options for cost efficiency, ensure INCOTERMS compliance, and maintain data entry in TMS while collaborating with carriers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Practical understanding of multimodal freight shipping (Air, Ocean, LCL/FCL, cross-border).
• Knowledge of INCOTERMS and global shipping standards.
• Proficiency in computer tools including spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication with fast response times.
• Solid data entry, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate freight quotes across multiple transit types (LCL, FCL, LTL, FTL, Air, Time-Critical).
• Respond promptly to customer pricing inquiries across channels.
• Research routes, schedules, and availability to determine optimal pick-up and delivery options.
• Select reliable, cost-effective routing solutions to maximize cost efficiency.
• Ensure pricing and routing workflows follow international trade standards and INCOTERMS.
• Maintain positive relationships with carriers, vendors and internal teams.
• Enter rate data into Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and support admin tasks.

Position Description

The Freight Pricing Representative plays a key role in supporting the freight sales and operations team by processing rate requests and delivering prompt freight quotes to clients. This position requires evaluating shipping options across various modes—including air, ocean, and ground freight to find the most efficient and cost-effective routes while maintaining strict compliance with international shipping standards.

Functions

• Prepare and issue accurate freight quotes across multiple transit types, including LCL, FCL, LTL, FTL, Air, Partial, and Time-Critical shipments.

• Respond quickly and professionally to all incoming customer pricing inquiries across communication channels.

• Research transit routes, steamship schedules, flight availability, and geographic coverage to determine optimal pick-up and delivery options.

• Select the most reliable and budget-friendly routing solutions for clients to maximize cost efficiency.

• Ensure all pricing and routing workflows strictly follow international trade standards and INCOTERMS.

• Maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with carriers, logistics vendors, and internal departments.

• Enter rate data accurately into Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and assist with administrative operational tasks as needed.
