Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Delivery & Freight Operations Coordinator (Inbound Specialist) to oversee the destination phase of ground freight shipments from origin departure through final invoicing. You will manage visibility across TMS platforms and coordinate POD documentation with receiving sites.

The role requires 1–3 years of transportation operations experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with TMS like e2open TMF or Descartes Aljex.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 1–3 years of experience in transportation operations, delivery coordination, dispatching, or freight management.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Familiarity with platforms like e2open TMF or Descartes Aljex is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of U.S. domestic ground freight operations (FTL, LTL, Intermodal) and standard shipment lifecycles.
• Proven accuracy in auditing shipping documentation and resolving discrepancies before invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inbound ground freight lifecycle from origin to invoicing release.
• Monitor shipments using real-time visibility platforms and validate ETAs.
• Issue delivery pre-alerts to destination warehouses with details and references.
• Audit PODs against BOL details and log driver information.
• Reconcile revenue and carrier costs across systems and ensure data parity.
