Job summary

BO's Coffee is seeking a Franchise Relations & Licensing Officer to maintain strong relationships with franchise partners while ensuring all stores stay compliant with permits, licenses, regulatory requirements, and company standards. The role coordinates with internal departments to resolve franchise concerns and supports the development of franchise stores.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in franchise management, licensing, or compliance preferred
• Knowledge of business permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with franchisees and their representatives
• Serve as primary contact for franchise-related concerns and coordination
• Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve franchisee concerns
• Monitor validity and completeness of licenses, permits, registrations and regulatory documents
• Maintain database and monitoring system for franchise licenses, permits and renewals
• Maintain complete franchisee records, agreements, permits, licenses, certificates and other documentation
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Marketing, Purchasing, Facilities, Design & Construction and other departments on franchise matters
• Prepare regular management reports on licensing status, compliance, pending requirements and key issues
• Assist in monitoring requirements for new franchise openings (permits, licenses and documentation)

About the role

The Franchise Relations & Licensing Officer is responsible for maintaining effective and professional relationships with Bo's Coffee franchise partners while ensuring that franchise stores remain compliant with applicable business permits, licenses, regulatory requirements, and company standards. The position serves as a key coordination point between franchisees and internal departments, facilitating timely resolution of franchise concerns, monitoring compliance requirements, and supporting the smooth operation and continued development of franchise stores.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with franchisees and their authorized representatives
• Serve as a primary point of contact for franchise-related concerns, requests, and coordination
• Respond to franchisee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate with relevant internal departments to address franchisee concerns and ensure appropriate resolution
• Monitor the validity and completeness of business permits, licenses, registrations, and other regulatory documents required for franchise stores
• Maintain an updated database and monitoring system for franchise store licenses, permits, and renewal schedules
• Maintain complete and updated franchisee records, agreements, permits, licenses, certificates, and other relevant documentation
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Marketing, Purchasing, Facilities, Design & Construction, and other relevant departments on franchise-related matters
• Prepare regular management reports covering franchise relations, licensing status, compliance, pending requirements, and key issues
• Assist in monitoring requirements for new franchise store openings, including permits, licenses, documentation, and other regulatory requirements

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Legal Management, or a related field
• Preferably with 2–3 years of relevant experience in franchise management, licensing, business permits, compliance, operations, customer relations, or administrative coordination
• Experience in the Food & Beverage, Retail, Hospitality, or Franchise industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of business permits, licenses, government regulatory requirements, and basic compliance processes is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Willing to coordinate with franchisees, government offices, and internal departments as required
