Job summary

D&V Philippines Outsourcing, Inc. seeks a Financial Controller (Fractional Controller Services) to lead financial management for US clients. The role is hybrid with early hours (4:00 AM–1:00 PM) and on-site attendance for monthly/quarterly meetings as required by the manager/client.

You will oversee accounting operations, payroll, AR/AP, and compliance, driving process improvements and ensuring US GAAP adherence across multi-client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S.-based accounting practices.
• Experience providing advisory services to multiple clients or working in a public accounting environment is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and cloud-based accounting systems.
• Excellent communication, client management, and presentation skills.
• Experience with U.S. practices, laws, and procedures for book-keeping, financial management and reporting, transaction oversight, budgeting, forecasting and planning, and cash flow and working capital management

Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting across the full accounting cycle including general ledger management and month/year-end close.
• Ensure the integrity of financial records and consistent application of accounting policies and standards.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting issues and provide guidance to accounting team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant accounting operations and financial records.
• Oversee AR/AP, payroll, and benefits-related transactions and controls.
• Monitor transaction workflows for completeness and timeliness; ensure compliance with policies.
• Support payroll processing, reconciliations, reporting, and benefits contributions.
• Coordinate with payroll providers and benefits administrators; ensure compliance with laws.
• Review and support compliance with insurance, workers' compensation, health insurance, retirement plans, and taxes.
