About the Role
As a Food Service Sales Supervisor (FSSS), you will act as the company’s primary Business Development Manager (BDM) for key food service accounts. You will drive sales growth, lead strategic account development, and provide tailor‑made business solutions to client partners. This role bridges marketing, system‑related, and financial strategies to achieve key account objectives and expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
Achieve 100% of sales targets across assigned accounts and territories.
Showcase portfolio and plant capabilities to deliver custom client solutions, product ideations, pricing recommendations, menu mappings, and project proposals.
Lead quarterly tabletop meetings, business reviews, and weekly account visits to build strong trade relations.
Gain deep market knowledge of client profiles, organizational structures, purchasing habits, and KPIs to align goals effectively.
Account & Market Intelligence
Monitor market trends, customer dining influences, and key demographic shifts to create actionable business strategies.
Analyze competitor activities, including product development, raw material sources, pricing, and sales movement.
Sales Promotions & Trade Support
Develop and execute cost‑effective trade promotional programs within budget guidelines.
Conduct post‑program evaluations, track ROI, and ensure timely quarterly expense liquidations.
Account & Administrative Management
Monitor weekly sales performance down to the branch and SKU level; create accurate forecasts for promotions and peak seasons.
Oversee financial health across accounts, ensuring strict adherence to credit limits, timely AR collection (maintaining 85% current AR), and monthly reconciliations.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints swiftly with Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) tracking.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Technology, Nutrition & Dietetics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales management or key account management (food service/FMCG background preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
Key Traits: High acumen for big‑picture strategic thinking, strong accountability, and the ability to drive results independently.
