Job summary

JADE BLUE PETROLEUM, INC. is seeking a Fleet Manager in Metro Manila to oversee daily fleet operations, safety, maintenance, and performance of our petroleum tanker trucks and service vehicles. You will manage deployment, ensure roadworthiness, and coordinate with logistics teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years in fleet or transportation operations, preferably in fuel distribution. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, business, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in fleet, transportation, or trucking operations.
• Experience in petroleum/fuel distribution or tanker truck operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet deployment, dispatch, and vehicle availability.
• Manage preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Monitor tanker operations for safety and standards compliance.
• Supervise drivers, track attendance, performance, and compliance.
• Track fleet utilization, fuel use, costs, and downtime.
• Ensure vehicle registration, permits, insurance, and regulatory updates.
• Investigate vehicle accidents and fleet incidents.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Depot, Retail, Maintenance and haulers.
• Prepare fleet performance reports and suggest improvements.
• Implement cost-control measures to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily fleet deployment, dispatch, and vehicle availability.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vehicle roadworthiness.
• Monitor tanker truck operations and ensure compliance with safety and company standards.
• Supervise drivers and monitor attendance, performance, and compliance.
• Monitor fleet utilization, fuel consumption, operating costs, and vehicle downtime.
• Ensure vehicle registration, permits, insurance, and other regulatory requirements are updated.
• Investigate and manage vehicle accidents, breakdowns, and other fleet-related incidents.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Depot, Retail, Maintenance, and third-party haulers.
• Prepare fleet performance reports and recommend improvements to management.
• Implement cost-control measures and improve overall fleet efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in fleet, transportation, logistics, or trucking operations.
• Experience in petroleum/fuel distribution or tanker truck operations is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet safety, and driver management.
• Strong leadership, coordination, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and fleet monitoring/reporting.
• Willing to work in a fast‑paced operational environment.
