Job summary

United Smart Tech is seeking a Fleet Manager in the Philippines to oversee vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety, reliability and cost efficiency. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the fleet of vehicles and equipment.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and warranty work with internal technicians and external vendors.
• Monitor fleet performance, utilization, fuel consumption, and operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA requirements and environmental regulations where applicable.
• Maintain records for vehicle registrations, insurance, permits, inspections, and maintenance history.
• Oversee vehicle acquisition, replacement, disposal, and asset lifecycle management.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors, repair facilities, leasing companies, and fuel providers.
• Monitor driver qualifications, licensing, training, and compliance with safety policies.
• Coordinate accidents, insurance claims and corrective actions.
• Develop and enforce fleet policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports and analyze fleet metrics to identify cost savings and improvements.
• Manage fleet budgets and advise on capital expenditures.

The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's fleet of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective. This position manages vehicle acquisition, maintenance, repairs, licensing, fuel usage, driver compliance, and fleet performance while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field preferred but not required.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of fleet management or transportation management experience.
• Experience managing commercial vehicle fleets preferred.
