The role is responsible for fuel allocation and issuance, route analysis and mapping, route validation, and fuel efficiency monitoring. The successful candidate will ensure that fuel issued to each truck is based on approved routes, trip distance, vehicle type, and the company's prescribed fuel consumption standards.
This is an operations-based role requiring close coordination with drivers, dispatchers, and the Line Manager across different shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze assigned trips and routes and compute the appropriate fuel allocation based on prescribed fuel consumption standards.
- Issue fuel based on approved distance, vehicle type, route, and target kilometers per liter (KM/L).
- Ensure all fuel issuances are properly authorized, recorded, and supported by trip information.Perform route mapping and analysis and recommend the most efficient routes for company trucks.
- Consider distance, travel time, toll roads, truck restrictions, and other operational factors when determining prescribed routes.
- Assist the Line Manager in validating actual routes taken by drivers against prescribed routes.
- Review GPS and trip data to identify route deviations, unnecessary mileage, and other exceptions.
- Monitor and analyze fuel efficiency by truck, driver, and route.
- Compare actual fuel consumption against prescribed KM/L targets and identify significant variances.
- Assist in investigating excessive fuel consumption, fuel discrepancies, and unusual consumption patterns.
- Maintain accurate fuel issuance, route, mileage, and fuel-efficiency records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on fuel utilization, route compliance, and fleet efficiency.
- Coordinate with Drivers, Dispatch, Operations, and other concerned departments.
- Recommend improvements in fuel allocation, route planning, and fuel-control processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience in trucking, logistics, fleet operations, dispatch, route planning, or fuel management is an advantage.Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable analyzing operational data.Familiarity with Google Maps, GPS tracking, route mapping, and fleet monitoring systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and unusual patterns.Good communication and coordination skills.
- Fresh graduates with strong analytical and Excel skills may be considered.Must be willing to work on-site in Quezon City.
- Must be willing to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends, holidays, and graveyard shifts.
