About the Role
Join Asia Brewery as a Fleet and Commercial Assets Manager and take control of our comprehensive vehicle fleet and commercial asset portfolio. In this strategic leadership role, you'll oversee the planning, organization, and management of all fleet operations and commercial assets across General Trade and Modern Trade divisions. You'll be responsible for managing both capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operational expenditures (OPEX) while ensuring optimal performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness across route trucks, service vehicles, forklifts, facilities, and cooling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet & Assets Management System
- Evaluate repair and maintenance requests from sales offices across fleet, cooling equipment, and facilities
- Provide technical support and customer service for vehicle breakdowns and facility repairs across all locations
- Investigate traffic incidents and accidents, providing liability recommendations for responsible personnel
- Recommend warehouse capacity improvements including racking systems, storage solutions, and facility upgrades
- Advise on vehicle designs and improvements for optimal durability and stability in regional operations
- Evaluate and authorize disposal of junk vehicles and worn-out cooling equipment
- Review and facilitate dispatch of new vehicles and vehicle transfers across locations
- Control and monitor expenses related to repairs, maintenance, and fuel consumption
Budget & Expense Management
- Lead and manage CAPEX for fleet acquisitions, facilities improvements, and infrastructure enhancements
- Control OPEX for fleet maintenance, warehouse upkeep, and operational expenses
- Track and optimize fuel consumption and fleet utilization metrics
Site Audits & Quality Assurance
- Perform annual sales office audits to assess fleet health, maintenance standards, and contractor quality
- Validate junk vehicles, defective tires, scraps, and equipment batteries for safe disposal
- Present audit results and performance evaluations to sales leadership teams
- Evaluate performance and capability of field fleet mechanics
Safety & Compliance
- Investigate traffic incidents and provide liability recommendations for responsible personnel
- Conduct and facilitate training programs on road safety and defensive driving techniques
- Provide occupational health and safety support for warehouse facilities and administrative buildings
- Ensure compliance with company policies, guidelines, and regulatory systems
Team Leadership
- Supervise and manage direct reports including Facilities Engineers, Fleet Coordinators, and Fleet
Management Analysts
- Mentor and develop fleet mechanics and support staff across sales offices
- Execute other tasks assigned by management as needed
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, CPA, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet and commercial assets management
- With experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager specializing in fleet and commercial assets
- Strong knowledge of vehicles, automotive systems, and civil works
