Job summary
MatchaTalent is seeking a Business Director – Philippines to lead the company's growth, partnerships, and operations in the Philippines. You will work closely with the Board and regional teams to drive strategic market expansion and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial leadership with deep knowledge of the Philippine fintech and financial services landscape, capable of guiding regulatory, governance, and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business/finance/economics/law or related field.
- 8–15 years in fintech, financial services, banking, or digital payments.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.
- Strong English; Mandarin preferred for regional/global coordination.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute growth strategies for the Philippines.
- Lead business development, market expansion, and commercial initiatives.
- Build relationships with government, regulators, and financial partners.
- Represent the company at events, meetings, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee operations and regulatory/compliance activities with internal teams.
- Provide market insights to the Board and leadership.
