Job summary

Clearview Takeoffs in the Philippines is seeking a strategic Financial Controller to oversee high-level accounting operations and work directly with the Chief Financial Officer. The role bridges day-to-day bookkeeping with executive financial strategy, ensures US GAAP compliance, and drives accurate reporting and robust internal controls in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include supervising month- and year-end closes, preparing and presenting P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year as a Controller
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience collaborating with executive leaders or a fractional CFO
• Proficient in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) and advanced Excel (modeling, pivot tables)
• Experience with multi-currency, complex inventory or industry-specific accounting is preferred
• Analytical thinker with process-improvement mindset and self-management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or active candidate is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and review reconciliations and journal entries
• Partner with CFO to prepare, review, and present P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
• Design, implement, and maintain internal controls and standardized procedures
• Manage high-level cash flow, revenue recognition, and complex financial analysis
• Support annual budgeting, variance analysis, and multi-year forecasting
• Oversee payroll and sales tax filings, tax compliance, and external audits
• Audit general ledger for compliance with US GAAP and optimize systems and reporting automation
• Oversee financial software systems and accounting workflows
