NightOwl Consulting Philippines Inc. is seeking a strategic Controller / CFO to lead financial operations and guide growth. This senior role requires expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management, with strong collaboration with the executive team.

The ideal candidate will drive financial planning, ensure GAAP compliance, and oversee risk management while supporting strategic decisions at the highest level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Minimum 5–10 years in financial leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Analytical, problem-solving and strategic-thinking skills.
• Strong leadership and ability to advise C-level executives.
• CFA, CPA, or similar certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee financial forecasting, modeling, and strategic planning.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key business metrics.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
• Oversee accounting processes, internal controls, and financial risk management.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
• Drive financial efficiency through process improvements and cost reduction strategies.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
