Job summary

Claritas is seeking a Controller (Finance Manager) to own the financial backbone of the business from Pasig onsite. You will drive financial discipline, protect margins, and deliver insights for fast, informed decisions. This role combines accounting rigor with strategic business partnering in a high-growth environment.

Lead month/quarter/year-end closes, budgeting, tax compliance, and process improvements while collaborating with leadership to optimize liquidity and profitability.

Qualifications

• CPA or strong accounting/finance background is mandatory.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably with corporate and project experience.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and big-picture thinking.
• Thrives in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and compliance.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Build and maintain internal controls safeguarding company assets.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and credit lines to optimize liquidity.
• Lead budgeting and rolling forecasts with department heads.
• Provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulators.
• Advise leadership with scenario analyses and process improvements.
