Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Business Analyst to coordinate intake submissions, document current processes, and support cross-functional discovery across Finance, IT, Data, and AI teams. You will maintain artifacts, drive readiness assessments, and help deliver governance-ready recommendations while ensuring quality and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in business analysis, finance, or process improvement
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, and coordinating actions
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication across functions and levels
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365; knowledge of Power BI/Platform, SQL, Python is an asset
• Willingness to work night shift, 9:00AM to 5:00PM EST

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake submissions and ensure completeness for triage across stakeholders.
• Schedule and prepare working sessions; document current-state processes and gaps.
• Create and maintain analysis artifacts like intake records, process maps, and logs.
• Conduct basic analysis to identify themes, pain points, and data needs.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Data, AI, and other teams to clarify requirements.
• Support readiness assessments by organizing evidence related to value, risk, and complexity.
• Maintain pipeline data and flag blockers; prepare governance packs and dashboards.
• Assist with transition activities: UAT, testing coordination, sign-off and handover.
• Support change and adoption by documenting affected groups and training inputs.
• Contribute to templates, knowledge repositories and community materials.
• Complete assigned work with confidentiality and quality control.
