Job summary

Ambica International Trading Corp. in the Philippines seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP team, ensure accurate processing, and uphold financial integrity. You will mentor staff, optimize processes, and ensure timely payments across utilities, card payments, and intercompany transactions.

The role emphasizes building SOPs, auditing readiness, and turning data into actionable insights for leadership. We value collaboration with Finance and Procurement teams.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, with AP and GL exposure.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/CMA bonus is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial controls.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP team's daily transactions in NetSuite with accuracy in GL coding, cost centers, dates, and documentation.
• Process liquidations and employee advances within set timelines.
• Ensure timely payment of utilities, credit cards, and intercompany transactions.
• Oversee petty cash, daily reconciliations, and OPEX accounting.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations (Accrued Expenses, Prepaid Accounts, PPE).
• Manage fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and monthly accruals.
• Develop SOPs for the team to improve efficiency.
• Support external audits and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Produce AP reports to inform leadership decisions.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams to keep operations smooth.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys leading a team, and wants their work to matter. What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and guide the AP team's daily transactions in NetSuite—ensuring accuracy in GL coding, cost centers, dates, and documentation
• Keep payables moving smoothly, with liquidations and employee advances processed within set timelines
• Make sure utilities, credit cards, and intercompany transactions are paid accurately and on time
• Oversee petty cash management, daily reconciliations, and OPEX accounting
• Prepare key monthly reconciliations (Accrued Expenses, Prepaid Accounts, PPE, and more)
• Manage fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and monthly accruals
• Build clear, efficient SOPs that make life easier for the whole team
• Be a trusted partner during external audits and month-end/year-end closing
• Turn data into insights—prepare AP reports that help leadership make smart decisions
• Work closely with Procurement, Finance, and other teams to keep things running smoothly

What You Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/CMA? That's a wonderful bonus!)
• 4–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience, ideally with AP and GL exposure
• Confidence working in ERP systems like NetSuite, and strong Excel skills
• A sharp eye for detail and a genuine love for accuracy
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities with grace, even when things get busy
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative spirit
• A proactive mindset—you don't just spot problems, you solve them
