Qualifications

• Encode financial transactions, invoices, receipts, and purchase documents.
• Input data accurately into Excel, Google Sheets, or accounting software.
• Ensure encoded information is complete and properly classified.
• Maintain organised electronic files and document naming.
• Check documents for missing information and inconsistencies before encoding.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Encode financial transactions, invoices, receipts, purchase documents, payment records, and other accounting-related information.
• Input data accurately into Excel, Google Sheets, accounting software, or other company systems.
• Ensure that all encoded information is complete, accurate, and properly classified.
• Update financial records regularly and maintain organised electronic files.
• Check documents for missing information, incorrect entries, duplicates, and inconsistencies before encoding.
• Maintain proper naming and filing of digital and physical documents.
• Assist Finance Specialists, Accountants, and Finance Supervisors with routine data-related tasks.
• Prepare basic Excel or Google Sheets reports and monitoring schedules.
• Assist in consolidating financial information from different sources.
• Provide administrative support during month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.
