Job summary

Private Advertiser in Metro Manila, Philippines is seeking an Accounting Encoder who can accurately encode and maintain financial records in our accounting system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, with strong data entry skills and basic accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities include encoding transactions, maintaining journals and ledgers, verifying invoices, assisting in accounts payable and receivable, and generating reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field required.

• At least 1 year of accounting or data entry experience is an advantage.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Encoder to accurately encode and maintain financial records in the company’s accounting system. The ideal candidate has strong data entry skills, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately encode accounting transactions into the accounting system.
• Prepare and maintain journals, ledgers, and other accounting records.
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other financial documents before encoding.
• Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile encoded data with source documents and resolve discrepancies.
• Organize, file, and maintain accounting records and supporting documents.
• Generate accounting reports as requested by the Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager.
• Assist in payroll data encoding and other finance-related administrative tasks, when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.
