Job summary

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited in Manila seeks a Financial Controller / Senior Accountant to safeguard financial reporting and controls. The role delivers accurate month-end financial information, supports local regulatory reporting, and drives standardised, automated processes within the finance function.

You will work with onshore teams, develop process expertise, and help embed governance across activities while advancing the bank's Future of Finance agenda.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accounting, Finance and Commerce or equivalent degree.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA with proven experience preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of financial control within financial services.
• Experience presenting finance matters and resolutions to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and reporting services for onshore teams, ensuring timely financial information.
• Manage end-to-end centralized processes (journals, reconciliations).
• Develop process expertise while supporting statutory reporting and controls centers.
• Ensure quality at source through strong process-level controls.
• Support centralized data sourcing, accounting, and reporting for in-country teams.
• Implement centralized, standardized processes and controls within the Insto team.
• Deliver timely month-end outputs for financial reporting and audits.
