Job summary

HRTX is seeking a high-caliber Finance Leader to head Record to Report operations for Australia and New Zealand from Manila. You will transition accounting activities to our Manila hub and drive continuous improvement, service excellence, and strong controls.

You will lead a team of senior managers, ensure compliance with IFRS/SOX, and partner with external auditors while delivering accurate financial statements and tax returns for AU/NZ entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and professional certification.
• CPA/ACCA/CIMA designation required or in progress.
• 8+ years in multinational or Big 4 environment.
• 4+ years leading other managers and teams.
• Expert knowledge of SAP and AU/NZ standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for AU/NZ entities.
• Oversee statutory filings and tax returns for the region.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, local GAAP, and company policies.
• Coach and develop a team of senior managers and professionals.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and external auditors.

Job Summary

This role is pivotal in managing the transition of financial accounting activities to our Manila hub while driving a robust continuous improvement and service excellence agenda.

Level: Asssociate Director

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting and financial reporting, including period-end close and IFRS reporting packages.
• Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax returns for Australia and New Zealand entities.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, SOX controls, and Local GAAP.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of senior managers and professionals.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior stakeholders and external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a multinational or Big 4 firm.
• At least 4 years of leadership experience (managing other managers).
• Expert-level knowledge of SAP and experience with AU/NZ financial standards.
