Job summary

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) Manila finance team seeks a Financial Control Specialist, Rates, to deliver timely financial information and ensure statutory and regulatory reporting obligations are met.

You will work with Finance, Business and stakeholders to maintain financial integrity, drive process improvements, and contribute to strategic initiatives within Markets and Treasury Finance.

Qualifications

• Markets product knowledge with extensive years of professional experience in Finance roles.
• Demonstrated understanding of IFRS and PeopleSoft.
• Strong ability to multi-task effectively and drive performance in a high complex environment.
• Strong business acumen coupled with financial prudence and customer focus.
• Statutory and regulatory accounting; CA or CPA.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring timely delivery of quality and accurate reports through but not limited to review and approval of P&L reports, month end and other reporting processes performed by MTFC team
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, policies, legislation and regulations (Statutory and Regulatory)
• Consistently seeking and identifying process improvement or automation opportunities
• Building strong and collaborative relationships with members of the MTFC team and stakeholders
• Supporting timely remediation of any adverse audit findings
• Providing support and oversight to junior member of the team as operational lead
