Job summary

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited is seeking a Financial Control Specialist in Manila. You will oversee daily financial operations, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and support statutory compliance and internal controls.

The role offers exposure to regulatory requirements and continuous process improvement. You will partner with onshore teams and external auditors, applying accounting policies and governance standards, while driving efficiencies across centralized Finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; CA/CPA preferred.
• Experience with financial reporting and annual statements.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls and governance.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments.

Responsibilities

• Review daily operations for accuracy and control compliance.
• Assist in annual financial statement prep and liaise with auditors.
• Act as SME for centralized Finance Control processes in Manila.
• Coordinate with onshore stakeholders for month-end and regulatory reporting.
• Drive process improvement and automation to strengthen controls.
