Job summary

Global Staff Connections Inc. is seeking an AU Senior Financial Accountant to join a client team in Metro Manila. You will provide financial control and administrative support to the CFO, ensuring accurate financial and operational processes across the business.

You will manage month-end close, prepare financial statements and tax returns, monitor cash flow, support payroll, and assist with budgeting. Strong MYOB proficiency and excellent communication are essential in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of experience in corporate accounting or related roles.
• Proven experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Experience in financial statements, management reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Experience in BAS, IAS, tax calculations, and annual tax returns.
• Cash flow forecasting, debtor management and cash collection experience.
• Proficiency in MYOB or similar accounting software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare reconciliations, analyses of profit and loss and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial analysis and reporting packs.
• Prepare year-end working files and consolidated financial statements.
• Prepare year-end tax calculations and draft income tax returns.
• Prepare BAS, IAS, tax calculations, and annual tax returns.
• Assist with annual budget preparation, performance tracking, and cost driver analysis.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring cash flow projections.
• Support Directors, Finance Team members, and staff with debtor management and cash collection activities.
• Provide support for payroll review and processing activities, including payroll, superannuation, and related payments.
