Job summary

ATOMIT Corp. in the Philippines seeks a Finance/Payroll Officer to manage financial records, AP/AR, and month-end close in a dynamic start-up setting. You will ensure accurate reporting and compliance while supporting the accounting team.

The role requires payroll systems know‑how, taxation/BIR compliance, and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. Hybrid work based in Alabang with a competitive benefits package and 13th‑month pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a start-up environment.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of taxation and BIR compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
• Proven experience as payroll officer and with payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure tax reporting and tax payments are in accordance with regulations.
• Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
• Provide support to the finance team as needed.
• Prepare government remittances related to employees’ salaries monthly.
• Prepare final pay calculations for resigned employees.
• Manually compute payroll in system outages.
