Job summary

MicroSourcing in Ortigas, Pasig City, is seeking an Accounting Assistant for a hybrid, day‑shift role. You will support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for Adaptalift Group and related entities, ensuring timely closing and accuracy.

The role covers fixed assets, finance contracts, tax/audit compliance, and general finance administration, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and collaboration with the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for Adaptalift Group and associated entities
• Ensure all month end tasks, including journals, accruals and prepayments are completed in a timely fashion
• Reconcile selected bank accounts in a timely manner
• Assist in monthly balance sheet reconciliations and end‑to‑end processes
• Assist in year‑end activities including preparation of annual financial statements
• Utilise IT and financial systems to extract data, analyse information and perform variance analysis
• Assist in developing and maintaining reporting standards for financial and management reports
• Generate monthly analytical reports to stakeholders (corporate card, travel and more)
• Assist in monthly Executive reports distribution
• Ensure finance administration tasks are completed before month end (customer collections, invoicing, etc)
• Reconcile intercompany transactions timely and follow up on rejected invoices
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation
• 100% adherence to company policies & procedures
• Month end and management reports completed by prescribed timeline
• Process fixed assets capitalisation and asset verification
• Process finance contracts setup, monthly repayments and reconciliations
• Assist updating monthly cash flow forecast for finance repayments
• Manage finance residuals liability and refinancing
• Reconcile FA and Finance Contracts GL
• Ensure fixed assets and contracts processing within timeline
• Ensure 100% data accuracy in asset capitalisation and contracts setup
• Assist in audit and tax compliance with external auditors
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports for government bodies
• Assist in monthly Business Activity Statements
• Support statutory obligations
• Develop policies and guidelines for accounting procedures
• Maintain high standards of control over processes and systems
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the Finance team
• All other duties as required
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
