Job summary

Plan International Pilipinas seeks a Training Coordinator to support day-to-day ECCD project activities at the community level in BARMM. You will work with daycare workers, teachers, parents, caregivers, community leaders and LGUs to improve early learning services and ensure safe, inclusive programming.

The role is field-based, promoting child protection, safeguarding, gender equality and inclusion, with active engagement to strengthen communities and ECCD outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Education, or related fields.
• Experience or exposure to ECCD or community development is preferred.
• Experience with participatory approaches in community settings is desirable.
• Strong awareness of gender equality and child protection principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct community orientation sessions with local leaders, people’s organizations and stakeholders.
• Support gathering and updating community and youth data and sharing information within communities.
• Assist the implementation of project activities based on approved workplans, ensuring child protection and gender equality.
• Facilitate monitoring and reflection sessions with community partners to review progress and lessons learned.
• Document community activities, processes and good practices.
• Support data collection for monitoring and evaluations with MERL Officer.
• Identify, mobilize, and train parents and caregivers to act as ECCD champions.
