Job summary

Children International, Inc. is seeking a Field Officer 1 for the Child Path Scale-Up Implementation Project in the Philippines.

This contract-based role will work directly in communities to implement CI's Child Path Model, engaging with families, volunteers, and local institutions to ensure program delivery and impact. The position requires community presence, fast learning, problem solving in a dynamic environment, and a commitment to combating poverty through hands-on fieldwork in Quezon City

Qualifications

Background in a relevant field like social work, community development, education, etc.
Candidates must be registered social workers with valid PRC licensure.
2 years of relevant work or volunteer experience in sponsorship-based or community development organizations; a relevant university degree may substitute for work experience.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with children, youth, volunteers and colleagues.
Proficiency in Filipino/Tagalog and local dialects for effective communication with participants and community members.

Responsibilities

Enroll, motivate and coordinate Club Facilitators, the community members who lead Child Path clubs.
Coordinate logistics at SDPs to ensure seamless program delivery and act as the primary contact for safeguarding referrals.
Create, schedule and actively coordinate Child Path clubs – age-level participant cohorts – at assigned SDPs.
Communicate with participants and their families to ensure ongoing engagement in programs and facilitate referrals to safety net services.
