Job summary

Unchained Labs is seeking an on-site field support engineer to deliver preventive services, installations, and qualification of analytics tools and large-scale lab automation systems, while building strong customer relationships.

You will travel across Asian countries as needed, with a focus on Japan and the Tokyo area, and collaborate with scientists and engineers to ensure successful deployments and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience supporting complex scientific equipment in life science.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electro-opto-mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of software, API integration with automated equipment.
• Great communication skills including English (oral and email).

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, repair and maintain complex automated workflow solutions and protein analytical equipment at customer sites.
• Provide remote support and troubleshooting help to our customers.
• Be a customer advocate, give us the real scoop about what’s going on, and help us get better.
• Log service cases and detailed reports in Salesforce CRM.
