Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a merchant growth specialist in the Philippines to drive growth for brands and sellers on our fashion marketplace. You will acquire and onboard retailers, build relationships, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while optimizing campaigns, pricing, and collaborations to boost GMV.

The ideal candidate has e-commerce experience, strong negotiation skills, and data-driven decision making, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above.
• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, other platforms or agencies.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail, data-driven, logical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Handle brands and big marketplace sellers that contribute high GMV share to the total category.
• Build and maintain relationships with brands and sellers, negotiate and secure best deals based on campaign or seasonality.
• Craft strategies for managed brands and sellers that can help them grow their sales on the platform.
• Create opportunities for growth for managed brands and sellers - brand days, campaigns, price competitiveness, livestream etc.
• Maintain service quality provided by seller - low cancelation and return rate, shipping LT, and other components to increase conversion rate and customer satisfaction.
• POC for certain projects with the fashion team.
