About the role
Typically coordinate and oversee activities related to building maintenance, grounds housekeeping and workplace safety. While they may not perform repairs themselves, they monitor maintenance teams, and use digital tools to schedule and track work.
Key responsibilities
- Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure compliance with safety and accessibility codes.
- Identifies maintenance and repair needs across common areas and property facilities.
- Plans and schedules repair and improvement projects in coordination with the EMD team.
- Coordinates office relocations and workspace reconfigurations for common facilities.
- Enforces workplace safety, emergency, and security protocols.
- Complies with company policies and procedures such as Code of Conduct, Food Safety, Quality, Environment, Health, Safety and others.
- Reports issue, deviation or any potential or actual emergency situation to immediate superior or authorized/designated person.
- Performs other related duties that may be assigned by his/her superior from time to time.
About you
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Industrial Technology, Facility Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in facility management, property operations, or building maintenance, specifically overseeing common areas.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of building systems (HVAC, fire protection systems, electrical layouts, plumbing, and general civil works).
- Quick identification of operational risks or facility defects and swift deployment of corrective measures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to report deviations, coordinate with superior managers, and interact with internal employees.
- Ability to organize repair schedules and reconfigurations with minimal disruption to daily office operations.
- Knowledge of local building codes, occupational health and safety (OSHA/EHS) guidelines, and environmental standards.
- Ability to walk, inspect, stand, and move across large facility grounds, floors, and utility rooms for extended periods.
