Job summary

RAM Food Products Inc. is seeking a Facilities Technician to oversee the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment and building systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations.

The role covers utilities, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and related systems in a GMP-compliant environment. Key responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, system monitoring, troubleshooting, building inspections, and supporting

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, utilities, or industrial plant operations.
Experience in manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
Basic understanding of HVAC, air compressors, boilers, generators, and water systems.
Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
Skilled in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of facility equipment and utility systems.
Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, water, and wastewater systems.
Troubleshoot and repair facility-related equipment breakdowns and abnormalities.
Perform inspections of buildings, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure operational reliability.
Support facility improvement projects, renovations, and equipment installations.
Respond promptly to facility emergencies and minimize operational downtime.
Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history.
Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, environmental, and machine safety requirements.
