Job summary

RAM Food Products Inc. is seeking a plant maintenance technician to assist in maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and improvement of manufacturing equipment.

The role covers electrical and mechanical aspects to ensure reliable and efficient production. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems, and supporting installation and commissioning of new machines.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and industrial equipment.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing plant environment and learn hands-on maintenance and engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of production machines and plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues involving motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems.
• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Perform routine inspection of electrical panels, mechanical components, and instrumentation.
• Assist in updating technical documents, including maintenance records, equipment logs, and basic drawings.
• Support plant improvement projects related to machine reliability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and GMP standards during maintenance activities.
