Job summary

RAM Food Products Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to execute daily preventive maintenance and perform technical troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment.

You will support uninterrupted production by minimizing downtime and ensuring plant safety. You will diagnose root causes, prepare maintenance reports, and coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or installations of utilities and machines.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer or Registered Mechanical Engineer OR graduate of relevant vocational technical courses (e.g., TESDA Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or Electrical Installation & Maintenance).
• Experience in food manufacturing is an advantage; fresh graduates may apply with cross-training.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, machine lubrication, and equipment calibration.
• Knowledge of electrical controls, technical schematics, and basic PLC troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Willingness to be trained and work in a multi-skilled mechanical/electrical maintenance setup.
• Strong communication skills for shifting reports.
• Commitment to safety standards and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct technical troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical systems (conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics) and electrical systems (motor controls, relays, sensors).
• Execute preventive maintenance program to prevent breakdowns and unnecessary repairs.
• Implement safety procedures including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Fire Alarm/Detection system maintenance, and drills.
• Diagnose root causes and submit maintenance reports for repairs or replacements.
• Provide immediate breakdown support to hit production targets.
• Assist external contractors for major repairs, overhauls, or installations of machines and utilities (e.g., air compressors, boiler, genset).
