Job summary

Valor Global is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to lead a team of technicians responsible for preventive maintenance of building and production equipment at our Taguig and Biñan Laguna sites. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operation of electrical, mechanical, and utility systems.

Responsibilities include budgeting, coordinating upgrades, maintaining environmental permits, and driving cost-effective improvements while keeping teams trained in safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and maintenance of building and production equipment.
• HVAC knowledge and experience required.
• Strong understanding of safety, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of facilities technicians for preventive maintenance and upgrades.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical, and construction work in accordance with codes.
• Ensure site environmental compliance and permits are maintained.
• Manage safety training and incident prevention for all staff.
• Plan monthly budget and drive cost-effective improvements.
• Coordinate site activities for Taguig and Biñan Laguna locations.

Job description

Leads a team of facilities technicians to maintain the building, its surrounding premises, and production plant service including preventive Maintenance and upgrading of facility equipment and electrical services.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preventive and routine maintenance; overhaul and modification of building and production equipment; emergency repair of buildings, equipment, HVAC, and utility systems.
• Assumes responsibility for complete in-house janitorial service and ground maintenance.
• Assumes responsibility for site environmental compliance programs.
• Assures all Federal, State, and Local permits are obtained and continue current.
• Acts as liaison to public utility, environmental, and energy agencies.
• Assures that all electrical, mechanical, and construction work is performed in conformance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Assumes responsibility of Safety Officer. Assures that each employee is formally trained in safety, which includes knowledge of hazards and protective measures required to prevent injury or illness.
• Establishes and maintains the building's operational flexibility. Evaluates and carry out improvements for higher operational efficiency in plant utilities.
• Responsible for all electrical safety.
• Plans and ensures monthly budget accuracy.
• Plans, coordinates and ensures all facilities' works compliance with required specifications, regulatory requirements, quality of work, and safety standards.
• Supports and assists the Functional Manager with day-to-day activities.
• Drives continuous improvement in all aspects of facilities operations in terms of cost, performance and efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
