Job summary

Globalport Terminals Inc. is seeking a Facilities Management Supervisor to oversee maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of all company facilities, equipment, and grounds.

You will coordinate with contractors, manage maintenance schedules, and support our operational needs with effective facilities management. Responsibilities include leading corrective and preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards, and preparing government permits and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with relevant facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience in facilities/building maintenance or engineering support.
• Proficient in MS Office and engineering software; strong multi-tasking and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Leads all corrective and preventive maintenance in any area, building or ground.
• Ensures port facility, building and ground are clean and well-maintained per policies.
• Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
• Prepares documentary Government compliances such as permits and operator approvals.
• Ensures facilities follow safety rules and regulations.

Job description

The Facilities Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of all company facilities, equipment, and grounds. The role ensures that buildings and utilities are properly maintained, repairs and services are carried out in a timely manner, and workplace standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality are consistently met. The Facilities Supervisor also coordinates with contractors and service providers, manages maintenance schedules, and supports the organization’s operational requirements through effective facilities management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads all corrective and preventive maintenance needed in any area, building or ground, within the vicinity.




• Ensures that the port facility, building, and ground, are clean and well-maintained according to the Company Policies and guidelines set by the Philippine Port Authority.




• Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.




• Prepares all documentary Government compliances such as but not limited to building permits, occupancy permits, permit to operate for equipment, electrical permit etc.




• Ensures all facilities are following the set safety rules and regulations of the company or any governing body.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering




• Has experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, engineering support, or related technical work.




• Knowledgeable in using MS Office, Excel and related Engineering softwareOrganized multi-tasking with strong decision-making abilities




• Good communication Skills.




• Capable of prioritizing duties and exhibiting leadership skills.




• Ensuring compliance with safety standards
