Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead facilities and property operations across its portfolio of company-owned and managed properties. You will ensure safe, well-maintained environments and drive service excellence for residents, tenants, and stakeholders.

You will supervise maintenance teams, coordinate with owners and boards, and manage budgets, vendors, and service providers to meet financial and qualitative targets.

Qualifications

• Licensed engineer or related discipline with a background in facilities/property management.
• Experience managing maintenance teams, housekeeping, technicians, or site personnel.
• Comfortable overseeing multiple properties, estates, or facilities simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating with property owners, condominium corporations, or estate boards.

Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead facilities and property operations across our portfolio of company-owned and managed properties. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, well-maintained environments, strong vendor and service provider performance, and excellent service delivery to residents, tenants, and stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and hold accountable the teams, property managers, and service providers responsible for facilities and property operations.


• Ensure company-owned properties are safe, clean, and well-maintained through systematic preventive maintenance and timely repairs.


• Oversee property management for managed properties, ensuring third-party managers deliver reliable resident services, sound financial management, and well-maintained assets.


• Manage vendor and service provider relationships (security, janitorial, maintenance contractors), including accreditation standards and quarterly performance evaluations.


• Develop, maintain, and enforce clear policies and processes for resident services, asset management, and financial management.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, tenants, boards, and internal departments to ensure issues are addressed early.


• Monitor budgets and financial performance, ensuring collections remain healthy and expenses stay within approved limits.


• Represent the company at the board level for managed properties.

What You Need to Have:

• Licensed Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) or related discipline, with a background in facilities/property management.


• Experience managing maintenance teams, housekeeping, technicians, or site personnel.


• Comfortable overseeing multiple properties, estates, or facilities simultaneously.


• Experience coordinating with property owners, condominium corporations, or estate boards.


• Ability to oversee repairs, preventive maintenance, construction activities, and property turnovers.


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
