Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Facilities & Systems leader to oversee daily operations of our global facilities in a multi-location setting. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, managing vendors, and coordinating space planning to optimize the use of office spaces.

You will lead EHS programs, safety inspections, emergency drills, and security measures, while collaborating with IT and HR to enforce policy and protect people and assets.

Qualifications

• Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing facilities management, EHS, security operations, or related field.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and emergency response practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of office facilities, ensuring a clean, functional, and productive work environment.
• Manage building maintenance, repairs, vendor relationships, and service contracts.
• Coordinate space planning, office moves, furniture layouts, and workplace improvements.
• Monitor facility budgets, procurement, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, access control) operate reliably and efficiently.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Lead emergency preparedness planning, including drills, training, and documentation.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with applicable standards and reporting.
• Provide EHS training and guidance to employees and managers.
• Oversee physical security systems, including access badges, visitor management, and surveillance.
• Partner with IT and HR on security protocols, incident response, and policy enforcement.
