Our Global Diabetes Capability Center is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Minimed’s Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.

Facility Management
  • Oversee daily operations of office facilities, ensuring a clean, functional, and productive work environment.
  • Manage building maintenance, repairs, vendor relationships, and service contracts.
  • Coordinate space planning, office moves, furniture layouts, and workplace improvements.
  • Monitor facility budgets, procurement, and cost‑saving initiatives.
  • Ensure building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, access control) operate reliably and efficiently.
Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Lead emergency preparedness planning, including drills, training, and documentation.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with applicable standards and reporting.
  • Provide EHS training and guidance to employees and managers.
Security & Access Control
  • Oversee physical security systems, including access badges, visitor management, and surveillance.
  • Partner with IT and HR on security protocols, incident response, and policy enforcement.
  • Manage relationships with security vendors and guard services (if applicable).
  • Monitor and improve security procedures to protect employees, assets, and facilities.
People Management — Functional Career Stream

Management and supervisory professionals with one or more employees who are focused on tactical, operational and some strategic activities within a specified area. Levels within the management career stream typically have six or more direct reports. The majority of time is spent overseeing their area of responsibility, managing performance, developing talent, engagement and inclusion, communicating business and operational developments, planning, prioritizing and / or directing the responsibilities of direct reports. Goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and / or indirect reports. A key responsibility of roles in this career stream is managing people. That includes: accountability for mentoring, developing and coaching staff on meeting/exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives, providing leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals.

Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the 5+ years of experience in facilities management, EHS, security operations, or a related field.

  • Preferred: Philippines Safer Officer 2+ Certification (40 hour basic OSH training) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations, safety standards, and emergency response practices.
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Ability to interpret building systems, floor plans, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Comfortable working both strategically and hands‑on.
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or similar credentials are a plus.
