Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills with experience developing press releases, speeches, social media content, executive communications, award submissions, and other corporate communication materials.
• Solid understanding of banking, financial services, and regulatory environment.
• Proven experience planning and executing media engagements, PR campaigns, milestone events, and executive visibility initiatives.
• Ability to craft and manage communications for issues management, crisis response, public advisories, and stakeholder engagements with Legal, Risk, and Compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Meltwater, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator; able to analyze communications performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute EastWest's media relations and publicity strategy with journalists, editors, influencers, and key media stakeholders.
• Craft and oversee executive speeches, statements, interviews, and institutional communications with brand-aligned messaging.
• Drive executive visibility and thought leadership by identifying speaking engagements and awards.
• Lead post-event communications and editorial content development to showcase milestones and corporate achievements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Customer Service, and units to manage reputational issues and crisis communications.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver award submissions and corporate materials.
