Job summary

Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mandaue City is seeking a capable Housekeeping Supervisor to inspect rooms and public areas after cleaning, ensuring quality standards across the property.

You will assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching staff, while coordinating with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations. Safety and confidentiality are emphasized throughout daily duties.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, update status.
• Assist Housekeeping management in daily activities and coordinate with Front Office and Laundry.
• Hire, train, schedule, evaluate, counsel, discipline, and motivate staff.
• Follow safety policies, report hazards, complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Communicate issues clearly, develop positive working relationships, and use POS systems.
