Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years in event management or related area.
• 2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major; at least 1 year in event management or related area.

Responsibilities

• Ensures events progress seamlessly by following established procedures and collaborating with employees.
• Greets customers during events and hands off to Event Operations for execution; ensures billing accuracy and reviews final bills.
• Manages group room blocks and meeting space for average to large-sized groups; identifies and solves operational challenges with staff and customers.
• Acts as liaison between field salesperson and customer; participates in site inspections and supports sales as needed.
