Edsa Shangri-La Manila is seeking an Events Executive to drive successful events front-of-house in a luxury city-resort setting. You will support the Events Manager, coordinate with the team, and elevate the guest experience for conferences, banquets and special occasions.

The role requires a passion for sales and marketing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to engage guests with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must have experience from a 5* hotel.
• Must be a friendly, helpful and trustworthy leader.
• Fluent in English and the local language.
• Strong interpersonal skills with guests and teams.
• Passion for sales and marketing and a creative mindset.
• Organised, with good time management and drive for change.
• Keeps up-to-date with industry trends and market practices.

Responsibilities

• Help facilitate events under the guidance of the Events Manager.
• Supports all the events team where necessary.
• Maximize the guests' hotel experience.
• Identify requirements and expectations of our guests towards the events.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure everything adheres to the standards.
• Create an exceptional experience for our guests.
