Job summary

Fairmont Makati seeks an experienced events professional to plan and deliver luxury hotel events from confirmation to completion, coordinating with hotel teams and suppliers to ensure flawless execution.

You will manage client requirements, VIP confidentiality, and post-event evaluations while driving profitability and exceptional guest experiences in a high-end setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in hospitality is an advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in events at a luxury hotel is an asset.
• Strong leadership to motivate, train and supervise a team of employees.
• Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office applications.

• Plans and delivers luxury hotel events from confirmation through completion, ensuring all operational details are executed seamlessly.
• Provides an exceptional guest experience by managing client requirements, special requests, service recovery, and VIP confidentiality.
• Coordinates with hotel teams and suppliers to ensure all event arrangements are communicated clearly and delivered safely and on schedule.
• Manages event administration and profitability, including budgets, billing, documentation, upselling, compliance, and post-event evaluation.
