Job summary

Raffles Makati seeks an experienced Events Manager to plan and deliver luxury hotel events from confirmation to completion. You will ensure all operational details are executed seamlessly and work closely with hotel teams and suppliers.

This role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience, managing budgets and post-event evaluation, with a strong emphasis on leadership, client requirements, and service recovery. Opera PMS and Microsoft Office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in events at a luxury hotel.
• Strong leadership to motivate and supervise a team.
• Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office.

Job Description

• Plans and delivers luxury hotel events from confirmation through completion, ensuring all operational details are executed seamlessly.
• Provides an exceptional guest experience by managing client requirements, special requests, service recovery, and VIP confidentiality.
• Coordinates with hotel teams and suppliers to ensure all event arrangements are communicated clearly and delivered safely and on schedule.
• Manages event administration and profitability, including budgets, billing, documentation, upselling, compliance, and post-event evaluation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a degree in Hospitality Management or any related field is an advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in events at a similar capacity in a luxury hotel is an asset.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate, train and supervise a team of employees.
• Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office applications.
