Job summary

Raffles Makati and Fairmont Makati, icons of luxury in Manila, invite an experienced Events Manager to lead end-to-end luxury hotel events. You will plan and deliver seamless occasions, from confirmation to completion, coordinating with hotel teams and trusted suppliers.

You will enhance guest experiences, manage VIP requests, budgets, and post-event evaluations, and supervise a dedicated events team. A minimum of five years in luxury hotel events and proficiency with Opera PMS and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years events experience in a luxury hotel.
• Hospitality degree is preferred.
• Strong leadership to motivate and supervise a team.
• Experience with Opera and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers luxury hotel events from confirmation through completion.
• Manages guest requirements, special requests, service recovery, and VIP confidentiality.
• Coordinates with hotel teams and suppliers to ensure all event arrangements are communicated clearly and delivered safely and on schedule.
• Manages event administration and profitability, including budgets, billing, documentation, upselling, compliance, and post-event evaluation.

Job Description

• Graduate of a degree in Hospitality Management or any related field is an advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in events at a similar capacity in a luxury hotel is an asset.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate, train and supervise a team of employees.
• Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office applications.
