Job summary

Horizon Auto Services Inc. is seeking a Sales & Aftersales Trainer to develop knowledge, skills, and performance across Sales and Aftersales teams at BYD dealerships in the Philippines.

You will design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, and service processes, while coaching teams and assessing effectiveness across multiple branches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, HR, education, psychology, automotive technology, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, Sales Training, Aftersales Training, Sales Coaching, or Automotive Operations.
• Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience handling both Sales and Aftersales training is an advantage.
• Knowledge of automotive dealership operations, sales processes, customer service, and aftersales processes.
• Familiarity with EVs and automotive technology is an advantage.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Ability to create engaging training materials, presentations, assessments, and learning activities.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Analytical and able to evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Willing to conduct training and provide field support across different branches.
• A valid driver's license with Restriction Codes 1 & 2 is an advantage.
• Willing to work on a six (6)-day workweek.
• Willing to be assigned onsite to any of our branches in Metro Manila (Alabang and Las Piñas), Bicol Region (Camarines Sur and Legazpi, Albay), Central Visayas (Tagbilaran, Bohol).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and facilitate onboarding and continuous training programs for Sales and Aftersales employees.
• Conduct product knowledge training covering BYD vehicles, features, EV technology, vehicle systems, financing, accessories, and other related products and services.
• Conduct sales training on consultative selling, customer engagement, negotiation, objection handling, closing techniques, and CRM.
• Conduct Aftersales training covering service processes, customer handling, service reception, parts processes, warranty procedures, vehicle maintenance, and dealership standards.
• Provide orientation on dealership processes, policies, systems, and SOPs.
• Assess training needs through evaluations, observations, coaching sessions, and discussions with Managers.
• Conduct product, process, and refresher training when new models or technologies are introduced.
• Provide coaching and field support to help employees apply learnings on the job.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and performance results.
• Develop training materials, presentations, manuals, assessments, job aids, and other learning resources.
• Coordinate with Sales, Aftersales, Marketing, and other departments to align programs with business needs.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance, certifications, assessment results, and training reports.
• Identify gaps and recommend training interventions.
• Support vehicle launches, events, roadshows, product demos with coaching.
• Stay updated on BYD products, EV tech, and dealership best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
