Job summary

Advanced Energy seeks a Data Analyst II to bridge GCM, IT and Supply Chain, shaping business information systems and updating ERP (SAP/Oracle) for better workflow and productivity. You will help set price and lead-time processes, provide ongoing support, and implement new functionality while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or computer information systems, or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of production planning, material management or configuration management experience.
• Independently manage tasks from planning through completion.
• Build relationships with and influence a diverse range of coworkers.
• Provide leadership among key contributors without direct line authority.
• Experience mapping business processes and coordinating cross-functional solutions.
• Manage multiple priorities and tasks.
• Solve problems efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of MS Office, SAP, Power BI, Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Update Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, Source List, and Quota data.
• Identify system strengths/weaknesses and suggest improvements.
• Balance business innovation with major process improvements.
• Analyze work samples, measure performance, and develop new procedures.
• Understand SAP dataset tables and interactions for speed/problem solving.
• Assist users in analyzing needs; create detailed specifications for programs.
• Review requirements, processes, and recommendations for proposed solutions.
• Analyze impact of issues/solutions on other areas.
• Develop functional/specifications and system design specs.
• Oversee testing and implementation of new functionality in ERP/PLM master data.
• Ensure issues are tracked, reported, and resolved timely.
• Communicate changes to the development team.
