Job summary

S&P Global Energy seeks an analytical data professional to monitor sales performance, support financial processes, and maintain data integrity across systems. You will generate reports for sales, management, and finance, while aiding process improvements and data governance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in data processing or analysis, strong Excel and scripting skills (Python/SQL/VBA), and familiarity with systems such as Salesforce, Oracle, or BI tools.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in data processing or analysis; familiarity with Python, SQL or VBA.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with pivots and basic macros/IF statements.
• Experience in sales support, systems, or business analysis roles.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on sales performance and key metrics.
• Support month-end close and commissions with the Global Commercial team.
• Ensure data accuracy and territory/account alignment across systems.
• Generate and analyze reports for sales, management and finance.
• Assist with process improvements, system updates and data governance.
• Support sales initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
