Job summary

STMicroelectronics in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Engineer - Assembly Process Engineering to lead process improvements, ensure product quality, and prevent customer issues. You will develop methods, qualification reports, and control plans for new processes, with a strong emphasis on safety and Lean manufacturing.

The role requires seven years of technical and supervisory experience in a similar environment, plus knowledge of MSA, SPC, FMEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum seven years of technical and supervisory Process Engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of problem solving tools, MSA, SPC, and FMEA.
• Experience with 8D, QC tools, CA/PA and QMS.
• Familiarity with Pre-Assembly, Assembly FOL/EOL, Testing, and Finishing & Packing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead process yield and productivity improvements in assembly.
• Analyze customer complaints using 8D methodology.
• Develop and review process documentation and control plans.
• Provide supervision to the Process Engineering team and ensure safety standards.
• Support new product introductions and line stress testing.
