Job summary

STMicroelectronics Philippines seeks a Senior Engineer - Assembly Process Engineering to lead process improvements that boost yield and product quality. You will drive root-cause analyses, DOE studies, and robust documentation while guiding a process engineering team to support cost efficiency and manufacturing excellence.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement robust control plans, and uphold safety and compliance standards across assembly operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• With at least seven (7) years technical and supervisory experience handling Process Engineering tasks in a similar environment.
• Must demonstrate skills in problem solving tools, MSA, Statistical Process Control, Process Capability, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Eight Discipline (8D), QC Tools, CA/PA & QMS.

Responsibilities

• Process yield improvement: identify opportunities to reduce scrappage and define improvement actions.
• Customer complaints: analyze with 8D methodology and determine root causes.
• Process documentation: review manufacturing shopfloor instructions and define key process parameters and control plans.
• Process methods & materials: improve productivity and develop new methods within ST standards.
• Process improvement: generate qualification reports and support new product introductions.
• People management: plan and lead day-to-day activities of Process Engineering team.
• Process reports: provide management with KPIs and control data.
• Safety, health, environment, security, and housekeeping: ensure rules are understood and followed.
