Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Senior Engineer - Assembly Process to execute key improvement programs, enhance process yield, and reduce customer complaints. You will lead technical efforts on process documentation, new methods, and materials, while supporting new product introductions and line stress testing.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least seven years of process engineering experience in a similar setting, with strong skills in MSA, SPC, FMEA, and 8D

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with MSA, SPC and FMEA.
• Knowledge of 8D problem solving and QA tools.
• Familiarity with process capability studies and QMS.

Responsibilities

• Improve process and mechanical yield and reduce scrappage.
• Analyze customer complaints using 8D and root-cause methods.
• Develop and document process methods and controls per ST standards.
• Support new product introductions and line stress tests.
• Lead process engineering activities and provide shopfloor support.
• Generate technical reports on process monitoring and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
• Manage team activities and performance reviews.
